The gîte has two separate bedrooms, a large, welcoming living room with an equipped kitchen and a soothing view over the rows of vines and the Champagne plain. Reims Cathedral

The cathedral of the coronations deserves to be admired head held high: a façade chiselled like stone lace, a rose window nearly thirteen metres across, and 249 steps to reach the towers and take in Reims at a glance. Allow a good hour, more if the Smiling Angel holds you there.

A 5 km loop starting from the village, two hours' walk at a gentle pace. The trail slips into the forest, where the plantations shift in species and age from one plot to the next. Pleasant year-round, it's at its best in autumn.
